Guiding students across the world to work alongside each other and develop principal leadership and teamworking skills through the use of technology.
Our Story
My STEM Project was founded in November of 2022.
After participating in the Youth Ambassadors Program to Brazil, Joanne was inspired to start a nonprofit to provide computer science education and opportunities to students from all across the world. She founded this nonprofit with the hopes that students would benefit from the program by gaining important leadership and teamwork skills, in addition to creating special friendships with peers worldwide.
STEM Program
A free 9-week virtual computer science program.
Our virtual program is meant for students, aged 12-18, from around the world. These students do not need to have prior coding experience. Throughout the nine weeks, the students will learn how to code, program a game with a small team, and present the game to the whole cohort. We aim to connect students worldwide while developing essential leadership skills and computer science education.
